I am a firm believer in fitness as a catalyst for positive change. As such, I train my clients not only to achieve their physical health goals, but to help them adopt a balanced lifestyle that promotes long-term success in and out of the gym.
I value the commitment and personal responsibility required to make positive changes and I deliver effective, tailored fitness programs that maximize results.
Lisa has been training me for the past 5 months, and I can honestly say I have never had a better trainer! She knows exactly how to push me and creates personalized workouts that afford me maximum results in minimal time. I have made huge leaps in my fitness and overall health and can’t remember feeling as strong in recent years as I do now; things I could never do without her. Her positive attitude, combined with her wonderfully quirky sense of humour makes working out with her a real experience! A fun experience!
For several years now, I have been helping people get stronger, healthier, and more self-confident. I have studied holistic nutrition and graduated from the Fitness and Lifestyle Management program at George Brown College in Toronto. I have a background in communications and teaching English as a second language and I feel that my experiences have lead me to this path of helping others to become healthy and fit.
Through the spring and summer of 2009, I had the privilege of helping a select group of teenage girls prepare physically and mentally to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, on an expedition of personal, social and global growth. I believe in the power of hard work, a positive attitude and respect for an honest effort. I am proud to be a small part of the life journeys of others as they scale their own personal mountains.
I am a Can-Fit-Pro Certified Personal Trainer Specialist (PTS), a CSEP Certified Personal Trainer (CPT), OFC Certified, and have my Level 1 of the NCCP Coaching Certificate. I also enjoy writing and have published several freelance articles.
